An ex voto devotional painting depicting rescue of a child from a house fire, shown under the intercession of the Madonna with the Christ Child. Painted by hand in oil on a wooden panel, this work was created as a votive offering in gratitude for grace received.

The front bears the date 1806, which refers to the religious event or vow depicted. Inscriptions on the reverse include 1865, likely marking a dedication , as well as 1910.
